FIELD SAFETY
Whether polar, arctic, desert, or jungle, Katabatic Consulting & Technical Services can provide qualified field safety support personnel for your project's needs.
Like our remote area medical professionals, field safety personnel are experienced in specific environmental and geographical areas. All of our field safety personnel actively work in the environments of their expertise as professional mountain guides, polar guides, and/or international adventure guides.
When possible, we will provide field safety personnel that are cross-trained in many areas of project management, such as camp management, field cooking, or location scouting.
Antarctic / Arctic Specific Projects
Katabatic Consulting & Technical Services maintains a current database of available field guides with 10 or more years of Antarctic and Arctic field experience to operate as independent field safety personnel for research groups and projects in those regions. Our guides are all AMGA or IFMGA certified and are versed in the field camp requirements and procedures to work in conjunction with the sponsoring agency for the project.
